Since then we’ve been capturing some amazing footage of their custom Ram Promaster camping vans in their natural habitats; their design and build shop in Gypsum, CO and in the surrounding wilderness where #vanlifemeans everything to these guys.

In 2019, Ecliptic Imagery is supporting Dr. Stencel and his astronomy and physics students in their exploration of analyzing light pollution from various sources of urban lighting. Upward facing lights are expected to be most problematic, but already several insights have been made about reflective surfaces and lens types.

Orthomosaic 2D Maps are extremely high resolution maps made from hundreds or thousands of images. They are not stitched together, but interlaced at the pixel level, and offer high accuracy linear and area measurements and visually detectable scientific data.

Thermal Imagery with a FLIR sensor documents surface temperatures using false color indexes. Heat loss and water leakage areas are detected during aerial inspections.
